How long does setup take?

Most owners have a receptionist they can test in about ten minutes. Going live on a phone number depends on your carrier and whether you forward your existing number or take a new one.

Do I need a new phone or a new number?

No. Keep your phone and your number. Conditional forwarding sends only the calls you do not answer to Aroha.

Can it put a caller through to me?

Yes, under rules you set, for example urgent jobs or existing customers. If nobody is available it takes a message instead of promising a handover that cannot happen.

Does it work after hours and on weekends?

Yes. It answers every hour of every day, and follows your after-hours rules, such as emergency call-out fees or a callback the next morning.
