An AI receptionist that books straight into Google Calendar.
Aroha answers the calls you miss and books callers into your Google Calendar while they are still on the phone. It reads your real free and busy times, offers two times that work, and adds the booking with the caller’s name, number and what they need. Connecting takes one Google sign-in.
Connect Google Calendar
- In Aroha, open Integrations and connect Google Calendar with one Google sign-in. Bookings go into your main calendar.
- Set your hours, the length of each kind of booking, and any gaps you want between them.
- Forward the calls you miss to your Aroha number. Your phone still rings first.
What Aroha does
- Reads your Google Calendar while the caller is on the line, so it only offers times you are really free.
- Adds the booking to your calendar with the caller’s name, number, address and what the job or visit is for.
- Texts the caller a confirmation and texts you the details, so you see it without opening the calendar.
- Works with apps that already sync to Google Calendar, like Fergus, Timely, Fresha, Tradify and Housecall Pro.
What it does not do yet
- It only books inside the hours and booking lengths you set, so it never fills your evenings unless you say so.
- It does not move or delete events you made yourself.

Questions
Does Aroha book into Google Calendar during the call?
Yes. It checks your calendar while the caller is on the line, offers times that are free, and adds the booking when they pick one. You get a text with the details straight away.
Can it check more than one calendar?
Yes. It books into your main Google Calendar and treats it as busy time. To block time from another calendar too, like a personal one or a team member’s, paste that calendar’s private link (Google calls it the secret address in iCal format) into Aroha. It reads it every 15 minutes.
What if I use Outlook or Apple Calendar instead?
Paste a calendar link instead. Outlook and Apple Calendar both publish one, and Aroha reads it every 15 minutes so it never double-books you. See every integration.
Do I need to change my phone number to use Aroha with Google Calendar?
No. Keep your number and your carrier. Forward the calls you miss to your Aroha number with a short code, and your phone still rings first. See the codes for your network.
What does it cost?
Start free with your own number: Aroha answers up to 60 minutes of calls in your first 14 days, then about 10 calls a month for free. After that, pay as you go at NZ$0.59 a minute or choose a plan from NZ$79.99 a month. See every price.
